About the Journal

International Journal of Disaster Studies and Climate Resilience is an open access, no-APC, multidisciplinary, twice-a-year, peer-reviewed journal published by Resilience Press, India that brings together insights from science, engineering, risk studies, law, humanities, social sciences, economics, humanitarian action, migration to tackle the complex challenges of disasters and climate change. The first issue of the journal will be published by the end of May 2025.  Supported by a prominent editorial board of experts in disaster management, engineering, environmental science, economics, sociology, and policy studies, the journal ensures a rigorous peer-review process and high-impact scholarship.  The Associate Editors of the journal are a highly motivated team of professional disaster management experts who will ensure that the best manuscripts are accepted in the journal, aiding the authors with a speedy communication and review process.

Repository policy: Authors are free to upload the final accepted version of their manuscripts in any digital repository of their choice, including in subject specific repositories, immediately after the publication of the manuscript. Accepted versions of the manuscript may also be uploaded. All such repositorised manuscripts/papers should bear the open access policy within it.
