About the Journal
International Journal of Disaster Studies and Climate Resilience is a multidisciplinary, twice-a-year, peer-reviewed journal published by Resilience Press, India that brings together insights from science, engineering, risk studies, humanities, social sciences and economics to tackle the complex challenges of disasters and climate change. The journal will showcase innovative frameworks for disaster risk reduction, strategies for resilient infrastructure design, rehabilitation, and rebuilding. Articles will also address climate-induced migration and humanitarian crises, reflecting the global need for inclusive, community-centered solutions. The first issue of the journal will be published by the end of April 2025. Initially DOIs will be assigned by Zenodo.
Supported by a prominent editorial board of experts in disaster management, engineering, environmental science, economics, sociology, and policy studies, the journal ensures a rigorous peer-review process and high-impact scholarship.
